Apple Expected To Use Squeeze Detection For Its Next iPhone

Gadgetsay is reportedly getting the rumored reports for the leaked patent of upcoming iPhones. We have got yet another rumor claiming that Apple can feature squeeze detection in the future smartphone. The iPhone patent has already hit the internet world and the enthusiasts are already crazy to see the next-gen iPhone. Apple is famous for adopting high-grade technologies to build a feature-packed smartphone, and it seems this will soon happen.

The tech giant is expected to manufacture a smartphone highlighting squeeze detection. So, now you must the thinking that you have already heard about this feature. If so, then you are absolutely right. This feature was already equipped in the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and before that also in some HTC phones, as well. The Digital Trends has published a US patent application no. 20180164166 which is named as “Mobile Electronic Device with Squeeze Detection”, so it gives us a glimpse of the new feature expected to be upgraded in the next-iPhone.

The latest patent was revealed by the USPTO, although it was the extension of the company’s patents of 2016 and 2013, known as Force Sensing Compliant Enclosure. As told earlier, Apple makes their own technologies and designs so it will not take HTC or Google ordinary feature. The squeeze detection feature will be completely advance and extraordinary. As usual, the next iPhone will be something trendy in the smartphone world.

The latest patent also reveals that the iPhone will be developed with an all-screen concept so it will ditch all the physical buttons from it. As per the previously leaked patent, the next-gen iPhone is assumed to be coming with wraparound displays with screens which would enlarge encompassing the boundaries. Similar to Samsung’s foldable smartphone (namely Galaxy X), Apple is also developing a separate concept.

The patent outlines technology which could be included in the smartphone like sensors (103) in the edges similar to 3D Touch, the power you applied to compress upon the device’s outer edge. The company will also work on the flash to improve the camera/ picture quality. They can also enhance interior mapping which is revealed by patent “Range-Free Proximity Determination”.
