ASUS’s upcoming smartphones are doing rounds across the web. The ROG Phone 3 and Zenfone 7 are some prominent phones that are slated to launch this year. A new ASUS smartphone with I003D model number has appeared on the WiFi Certification. According to the previous leaks, it is the upcoming ROG Phone 3 while some vendors say it is not.

A few days ago an unknown ASUS device with the codename I003DD appeared on the WiFi Certification and some websites claimed it to be the ASUS ROG Phone 3. However, it was contradicting the GSMArena’s and some other prominent websites’ claims of I003D as the Asus Rog Phone 3.
Many fans went into uncertainty after the citation of multiple model names for ASUS ROG Phone 3. Well, as a respite for those fans and geeks, a new ASUS smartphone bearing the I003D model name has appeared on the WiFi certification. The device support WiFi 6 with speeds of 1.8Gbps and uses Qualcomm QCA6390 connectivity SoC. Other information about the device was not available but it has cleared the confusion that aroused last week.
Previously, The ASUS I003DD also appeared at Geekbench with a single-core score of 902 points and a multi-core score of 3074 points. The presence of ultra-advanced connectivity chip and scores are pointing towards the presence of Snapdragon 865 Chipset.
There could be two different models of ASUS ROG Phone 3 or the company is considering to relaunch a similar device under different series.
