Today, Asus’ gaming brand ROG announced through its official Weibo channel that it will hold the ‘Natural High Energy ROG 2020 New Product Launch Conference’ at 19:00 on July 23. The Asus ROG Phone 3 will come with the Snapdragon 865 Plus. Earlier, we were thinking that VIVO will be the first to get this chip. But it was denied immediately.

Last week, the Asus ROG Phone 3 has passed NCC certification in Taiwan. The certification information shows that the model of this handset is ASUS_I003D. And also, we could learn from the certification documents that it will come with a 30W charger, a built-in 6000mAh battery, and a 512GB of body storage.

What TENAA Tells About ASUS ROG Phone 3?

Apart from this, the ROG Phone 3 had previously entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Judging from the photo released by TENAA, the appearance of the Asus ROG Phone 3 is almost unchanged compared with the previous generation. The most eye-catching change is that the back of the phone. In other aspects, the ROG Gaming Phone 3 will come with a 3.091GHz main frequency CPU; the 6.59-inch display will have a resolution of 2340×1080; the front-facing camera will have a 13-megapixel resolution; and dimensions are 171×78×9.85mm.

It is reported that the CPU frequency of the Snapdragon 865 Plus flagship platform has exceeded 3.1GHz. (Exceeded the 3GHz mark for the first time in the history of mobile chips). Qualcomm said that due to the higher 3.1GHz clock speed, the performance of the Snapdragon 865 Plus is now 10% higher than that of the ordinary Snapdragon 865.
