crDroid is optimized for performance. The ROM is stable in the sense no major bugs but you’ve to live with a non-functional ultra-wide sensor. Apart from the broken ultra-wide sensor, everything is reliable on crDroid. The ROM used to get regular security updates and fixes, so maybe in the future release, the ultra-wide sensor bug will be fixed.

As of now if you don’t really care about taking ultra-wide shots, then it’s worth a look.

Though not official, the Redmi Note 8/8T has LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10 support. The build is pretty stable with no major bugs.
