Previously, MediaTek officially announced the new Dimensity 1000/1000+ chip. It will be launched by the iQOO Z1 for the first time. Recently, one of the bloggers also exposed the Geekbench running score of the enhanced variant of this SoC.
From the screenshots, we can see the Dimensity 1000+ scores 784 and 3043 in the GeekBench single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. In order to understand the power of this chip, we are offering to take a look at comparison scores. The Kirin 990 5G chip scores 774 and 3159 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. And the current most-powerful Snapdragon 865 chip Geekbench score is single-core 891 and multi-core 3116. Overall, the performance of the Dimensity 1000+ Geekbench is similar to that of Kirin 990 5G, and the single-core performance is surpassed. At the same time, the performance gap with Snapdragon 865 is not very large.
