Asus has recently unveiled its new gaming smartphone, which is the new Asus Rog Phone 5. Asus has skipped the number 4 because, in China, they consider four as unlucky. Even though the new device features an RGB light panel to the back and Pressure-sensitive zones aKa Gaming triggers, it still requires more features like an IP rating. To make gaming more effective, it has DTS:X stereo speakers. It’s worth noting that Asus has launched three devices in the 5 series which are Asus Rog Phone 5, Rog Phone 5 Ultimate, and Rog Phone 5 Pro. The difference between these devices exist only in their RAM capacity, the top variant comes with a whooping 18GB of RAM. Today, we are here with the wallpapers of the device. The Asus Rog Phone 5 series sports a 6.78 inches Super AMOLED display that supports HDR10+, and it can blow up to a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It supports a massive refresh rate of 144Hz and is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display can show colors up to 1B colors and still is limited to a resolution of Full HD+. It sports the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which makes the device as the most powerful device. The processor has Kryo 680 cores and pairs with Adreno 660. It pairs with 8 and 12GB of RAM for the regular variant and 16GB for the 5 Pro, and a massive 18GB for the Rog Phone Ultimate to make it even smoother.
Talking about optics, it doesn’t come with a significant upgrade. That said, it still features a primary 64MP sensor followed by a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.4 aperture value. To make it a triple-camera setup, it has a 5MP macro sensor. To the front, the device features a 24MP selfie camera which has an f/2.5 aperture value. The device runs on Android 11 on top of ROG UI, which comes with a few gaming features. It draws juice from a 6000mAh battery which supports 65W fast charging tech and has two USB type C ports.
