Motorola has recently unveiled a budget smartphone for the European market. Interestingly, the brand has used a chipset that supports 5G onboard. They have also improved the specifications of the device compared to the older models. It has got a higher refresh rate, better cameras, and much more. Wait, they have included a bunch of new wallpapers with the device. It is one of the few reasons why the device looks cool. We will talk about that in the latter part of this article. But before, let us look into the specifications of the new Moto G50.
Moto G50 Specifications
The Moto G50 features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. It results in just 720 x 1560 pixels, but the good thing is that it has a refresh rate of 90Hz. While we look to the internals, the Moto G50 sports the new Snapdragon 480 chipset, supporting 5G. This octa-core SoC is built on the 8nm process and includes eight Kryo 460 cores clocked at various speeds. On the GPU side, it sports the Adreno 619 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box and has a UI close to Stock Android.
When we come to the optics, the Moto G50 sports a triple rear camera setup, the camera setup consists of a primary 48MP sensor with an aperture value of f/1.7 and PDAF. It is followed by a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture value and a 2MP depth sensor with the same aperture value. To the front, the device sports a 13MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.2. Sadly, Moto has limited the video recording to 1080P for both cameras. It draws juice from a large 5,000 mAh battery, and it charges via the USB type C port, which supports 15W fast charging tech. The device is splash-resistant so that it can withstand tiny water droplets.
