Samsung is all set to unveil the updated version of Galaxy A51 and A71, the new Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Both of the smartphones will be available in both 4G and 5G variants. However, there are no significant changes apart from the processor. As per MySmartPrice, both Galaxy A52 and A72 will be launching in India soon as both devices’ support pages are already live. Like every new update, Samsung has included a lot of new wallpapers with the Galaxy A72. All of them are available to download. But before that, let us look at the new Samsung Galaxy A72 4G and 5G specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G and 5G sports a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED plus display with a single punch hole and with a resolution of Full HD+. That said, it has a pixel density of 393 Pixel Per Inch (PPI), an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Coming to the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G’s internals, it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC which is built on the 8nm process. This octa-core setup includes two Kryo 570 cores that clocks at 2.0GHz, and six Kryo 570 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. On the GPU side, it sports the Adreno 619 GPU. The 4G variant will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC built on the same 8nm process. The octa-core setup includes two Kryo 465 Gold cores that clocks at 2.3GHz and six Kryo 465 silver cores clocked at 1.8GHz. And to the GPU side, it sports the Adreno 618 GPU.

Talking about the variants, it comes with 6 and 8GB of RAM. Further, it will have 128 and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage type. And, this is expandable via the dedicated micro SD card slot. The device will run on the latest One UI 3.0, which is based on Android 11.

Quad-rear cameras with a slight difference!

The optics on the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G will sport a quad rear camera setup. It will include a primary 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture value and with PDAF. The same pairs with a 12MP secondary ultra wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture value. Further, it gets an 8MP telephoto sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0 and 2x optical zoom and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.3 aperture. To the front, the smartphone comes with a 32MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.2. The rear camera can shoot videos in 4K, while the front camera can only shoot videos in 1080p. 

The smartphone will pack a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging tech. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC (market dependent), FM radio, USB2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and ANT+. Talking about the biometric options, it comes with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and will have support for face unlock.
