#1 From your keyboard press Windows+I to open settings window, Find and click on Control Panel within the control panel click on Power Option.

For windows 10, you can use Additional Power System on the left panel.

Users can also navigate to the power setting using the RUN shortcut command and Type “powercfg.cpl” and it will be navigate to Power Option.

#2 From the power option click on “Choose What the power buttons do

#3 You need to click on “Change Settings that are currently unavailable

#4 You will be in a window in which you can see a list of shut down options, from there click on Hibernate and to confirm click on Save Changes.

#5 Now you can see the changes on your computer Start menu, just click on Start power button and you can see Hibernate option available there.

All done now you can use Hibernate button anytime as per your need, switch off your computer using Hibernate which will enable you to turn off your computer complete but saving all your work as a resume on Hard Drive, Switch on your computer again and you can see all your work open where you left off.
