The industry insiders are reporting that Redmi will launch the new smartphone with either of these high-end chipsets featuring 5G support along with the high-refresh-rate display. There’s no official information about the model name but expected that the smartphone could launch under Redmi H or Redmi Note 10 series. Moreover, popular Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station also mentioned a smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset that is expected to launch by the third quarter. It will feature a quad-rear 64-megapixel primary camera and a 144Hz refresh rate display. It is also stated that the new device with MediaTek will come by Q3 this year.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is preparing for the Mi MIX 4 launch this summer. The smartphone will feature a 120K punch-hole display with 2K resolution support. It is highly anticipated that Redmi would re-release the same smartphone under a different name using either one of the chipsets mentioned above. Moreover, Redmi Note 10 series is also in works and could launch by Q3 this year. But, there’s a slight chance that the Redmi Note 10 series might carry MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC.
If Redmi partners with MediaTek then it will be priced around 2500 Yuan. The device with Snapdragon 865 chipset will then be the Redmi Flagship. These new smartphones will pose significant competition to high-end smartphones from iQOO, Vivo, Oppo, and some other opponents. For more stay connected with us!
