Google Pixel 4a launched with Snapdragon 730G, 5.8-inch OLED, Titan M Security Module and 128GB storage for $349

Google silently launched the Pixel 4a smartphone today without any online launch event and teaser. Google Pixel 4a houses some splendid features like Snapdragon 720G with Titan M Security chip, 5.8-inch OLED display, Titan M Security Chip, 5.8-inch OLED display, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is available for the price of $349 and will start retailing in the US from August 20 via offline and online stores.

Google is offering three months of Google One, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass subscription for free. Moreover, the interested users in the US can buy it on contract from US Cellular, Verizon, and Google Fi.

Chipset and Display

Google Pixel 4a smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 720G chipset which houses an octa-core processor and Adreno 618GPU. The smartphone houses the Titan M Security module for enhanced security. A beautiful Full-Screen 5.81-inch display is present with a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and supports HDR along with 24-bit depth for 16 million colors.

Camera

In the camera department, you will get a 12.2MP rear camera with 1.4 μm pixel width. The smartphone camera houses Optical + Electronic Image Stabilisation for better photos. Google Camera also enables the users to enjoy the popular Portrait Mode, Top Shot, Night Sight with astrophotography capabilities with its advanced software. The smartphone also supports HDR+ along with dual exposure controls. There’s a front 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Other Features

A 2140 mAh battery is intact along with 18W fast charging. The smartphone is available Just Black colors and offers 1 year of warranty.

The smartphone OS is available only in a single storage variant featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

However, the smartphone will launch in India in October 2020 and will be exclusive with Flipkart. Today’s global variant won’t be launched in India and Singapore.
