According to some Weibo bloggers, Huawei’s new tablet will be released together with the Huawei P50 and is expected to run the Harmony system. It seems that although Huawei is facing a crisis of chip supply, product planning has not stalled. Meanwhile, the launch date of the Huawei P50 series is yet to be known but it may happen in late March 2021.

There have been many revelations before this Huawei high-end tablet. Say, we know that the screen of this tablet supports a high refresh rate. And there may be a large-size version with some new changes. In terms of chips, the blogger said that this high-end version of the tablet is expected to be equipped with Kirin 9000 series chips.

This Huawei tablet is positioned as a high-end, using a 12.9-inch OLED screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, an ultra-narrow bezel non-hole-punch screen, and a thin and light metal body.

Huawei will hold a Harmony OS 2.0 smartphone developer Beta event on December 16. At this conference, it will deeply analyze the Harmony OS distributed application framework.

Mao Yumin, vice president of Huawei’s software department, once said that the developer Beta version of the Harmony released by Huawei on December 16 will adopt a new design style. Plus, the Huawei Mate 40 series will be the first to get the corresponding update. The Harmony OS 2.0 roadmap shows this system will first support devices including smartwatches and in-car system sin 2020. From the second quarter of 2021, it’ll support devices above 128MB RAM such as smartphones and tablets.
