On June 2, Honor announced its Honor 70 series comprising Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro, and 70 Pro+. Earlier today, i.e., on June 10, the newly launched Honor 70 Pro was officially made available for sale in China. At the same time, the Honor 70 Pro+ will be on sale at 10:08 on June 16. The standard Honor 70 has already been on sale from June 7. The pricing of Honor 70 Pro starts at 3699 Yuan for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. The middle variant with 12GB + 256GB starts at 3999 Yuan. It goes up to 4399 Yuan for the 12GB + 512GB variant.

The Honor 70 Pro / Pro+ features a curved 6.78 inches OLED screen with a Quad-HD resolution. The screen offers a high-frequency PMW dimming of 1920Hz and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a 1.07 billion color display and gets certification by the HDR Vivid World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance. The whole series features a primary 54MP Sony IMX IMX800 sensor in terms of imaging. It has a sensor size of 1/1.49-inch and is an outsole sensor. The same has a four-in-one 2.0μm equivalent pixel size.

The primary sensor pairs with a secondary 50MP super wide-angle macro sensor. The name suggests that it is a two-in-one sensor and supports wide-angle and macro modes. On the front, it features a 50MP AI super-sensing sensor. However, the Honor 70 gets a lower 32MP front camera. In addition, both the Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro+ features an 8MP telephoto lens. It supports OIS optical image stabilization. Further, it also offers 3x optical and digital zoom up to 30x.

Magic UI 6.1

The new Honor 70 series also debuted the latest Magic UI 6.1. It brings a unique smart experience. Honor upgrades GPU Turbo X allowing users to enjoy ultra-high-resolution and high-definition images. The Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro + debut Honor Mobile Gaming GPU Super Rendering Technology. It will help its users to enjoy stable frame rates. All the devices can bring a faster download rate because of the LINK Turbo X technology. It can realize four-network synergy and multi-network concurrency. The OS Turbo X equips a brand-new smart memory engine. It will learn user habits through AI algorithms. The same will help in using the smartphone for a long time. Further, the Magic UI 6.1 also optimizes the services by YOYO. It will proactively provide services according to the scene.
