Honor finally unveiled its Play 4 series in China after numerous rumors and teasers in the past few weeks. The company unveiled two new smartphones – Honor Play and Honor Play 4 Pro featuring different specifications.

Honor Play4 is powered with MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset with APU 3.0, a 6.81-inch display with a side fingerprint sensor. A quad rear camera with a 64-megapixel primary sensor is present with EIS image stabilization. Huawei Play 4 offers VC cooling technology to dissipate heat while gaming. A 43000 mAh battery is present with 22.5W super fast charging. The smartphone supports both SA and NSA dual network bands.
On the other hand, Honor Play 4 Pro is equipped with Kirin 990 chipset coupled with Balong 5000 5G based band. There’s a massive 6.57-inch LCD display with a capsule-shaped punch-hole hole for the dual front camera. A side fingerprint is present for better accessibility. There’s a 4200 mAh battery and 40W fast charging technology.
The Honor Play 4 Pro also features a 64-megapixel primary rear camera to capture detailed photos. There’s an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor + 2-megapixel + another 2-megapixel macro lens.
Honor Play 3 series pricing and availability
Honor Play 4 5G is available with 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage for 1799 Yuan (~$253) and 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is available for 1999 Yuan (~$281). It will officially start retailing from 12 June and pre-sales are already up from today. It will be available from the official Huawei Mall Store in China.
Huawei Play 4 Pro 5G is also available in two storage options of 8GB RAM + 128GB for 2899 Yuan (~$407) and 8GB RAM +128GB RAM with temperature sensor for 2999 Yuan (~$421). It will officially go on sale from 9 June.
