Honor X10 goes official with Kirin 820 5G SoC, 4300 mAh battery and 90Hz display for 1899 Yuan (~$267)

Honor finally unveiled Honor X10 at a product launch event after several leaks in China. It is a mid-range device packed with Kirin 820 5G chipset 40-megapixel rear camera module and a 4300mAh battery. It is available in three different storage variants of 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB internal storage. Itis termed as the cheapest 5G smartphone available in China.

Honor X10 comes powered with Kirin 820 5G chipset coupled with an Octa-Core processor and supports SA / NSA dual-mode 5G with 9 frequency bands. It houses the same modem as of Kirin 990 which provides a download speed of 1003Mbps and super uplink speed. Honor X10 brings a stable 5G signal with 5G distributed antenna design. Moreover, smartphone users can switch between two different 5G SIMs.

Honor X10 Specifications

The new SoC brings 27% improved CPU performance, 38% GPU performance, and 73% improved NPS with the ability to handle AI tasks. Its display supports the 90Hz refresh rate and 190Hz sampling rate. The display supports 90fps on many popular games. Moreover, the TüV Rheinland certifies the display consisting eye-protection mechanism while using the e-book mode.

The smartphone encases a beautiful 6.63-inch IPS LCD full-view display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio. A side-fingerprint sensor resides on the right side for easy unlocking.

Honor X10 runs on Magic UI 2.1 coupled with Kirin + Gaming 2.0 engine for better heat dissipation while running graphics-intensive tasks for longer periods. There’s a 4300 mAh battery with 11 hours of continuous gaming support and carries 22.5W super fast charging.

Honor X10 uses 21-layer glass technology to improve design-build.

In-camera department. the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera module featuring a 40-megapixel primary camera that captures 40% more light. There are two other sensors including a wide-angle and a macro lens. It can take breathtaking photos even in the low-light environment using long-exposure mode.

The pre-sale for the smartphone will start at 18:00 GMT +8, while the sales will commence at 10:08 on May 26. It is available in color options of Blue, Black, Silver and Blaze Orange.
