How to download all photos from iCloud

You can download your photos from the iCloud to any mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad or an iPod touch. If not, you can also download them to a Mac or Windows PC. With that said, follow the method that is best suited for you.

Download photos from the Photos app

The Photos app on Apple can be used to download Photos/Videos to your device. If you use the app for managing your photos/videos, then follow these steps. Before you proceed, please make sure you are using a device running on the minimum following OS.

  • An iPad or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or the newer iPadOS.
  • Apple computer with Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 or later.

Download to a Mac

Download to a Windows PC

Make sure that you’ve set up iCloud Photos on your PC. If not, follow these steps.

  • Download and install iCloud on windows.
  • Open iCloud for Windows. Click Options, next to Photos. Click Done to finish the setup.

You don’t necessarily need to use the Photos app to download photos to the device. You can use iCloud.com to download them using the browser. Make sure that you’re logged into your account to perform a download.

Download to an iPhone, iPad or an iPod touch

Since Apple is always so cautious on making their devices simpler to use, the method is the same for an iPhone, iPad and an iPod touch.

  • Open iCloud.com and tap on Photos.
  • Click on Select and start selecting the photos you wish to download. Tap on Select All to select all your photos.
  • Tap the more button (The three dots) and click on Download, then confirm your request.

Download to a Mac or Windows PC

  • Open iCloud.com and tap on Photos.
  • Click on Select and select the photo you wish to download. You can also select multiple images by holding the Command key on Mac or the Control key on Windows. Tap on Select All to select all your photos.
