So if you’ve been keeping abreast of developments in the technology space. Then you probably know that the Huawei nova 7i was announced early this year around February. Now it seems that was just the tip of the iceberg as the company is set to unveil new products to add to the line-up of its nova 7 series. Insider sources within the company in China. Reveals that Huawei plans to unveil the nova 7, nova 7 Pro, and nova 7 SE in just a matter of weeks from now. The exact date is rumored to be around April 23rd so mark your calendar folks! The devices will then be available for purchase towards the end of April, like on the 28th.
Processor
All three models are said to come with the Hisilicon Chipsets. Likely the Kirin 990 5G or the Kirin 985 or even the Kirin 820. The Huawei nova 7 SE will very likely feature the Hisilicon Chipset Kirin 820. We say likely because its predecessor was powered by the Kirin 810. The Huawei nova 7 will run the Kirin 985 and the Pro model also likely to feature the more powerful Kirin 990 5G. The chip naming convention suggests a hierarchy of sorts. I think we can safely speculate that the 985 is the big dog. Followed by the 990 and finally 980 in the lower cadre.
All three new smartphones will be fully 5G enabled. Not a surprise since China is in the cusp of a 5G revolution. And finally lets talk price and to get your hands on the creme de la creme, the nova 7 pro, you will have to part with about CNY 3500 which is approximately €456 or $493. We don’t know yet the price of the nova 7 and the 7SE but those are likely to cost less than the 7 Pro but things could change so fingers crossed.
