Huawei P Smart 2021 was officially launched earlier today. It comes as a direct successor to Huawei P smart 2020 which was released merely five months ago. The new smartphone is launched in some of the European markets such as Austria, Croatia, Estonia, and Slovenia. It has recieved some serious upgrades when compared to its predecessor. Huawei P Smart 2021: Specifications
Huawei P Smart 2021 is powered by their inhouse Kirin 710A SoC and runs on EMUI 10.1 based Android 10 OS. The device is pared with a 4 GB RAM and gets a 128 GB internal storage which can further be expanded via microSD card slot. Ons of the drawbacks in recent Huawei devices is its unavailability of Google apps and services. This device follows the same path as well. Although, they are providing Huawei AppGallery and Huawei Mobile Services as alternatives.
Compared to its predecessor, the P Smart 2021 gets a huge upgrade in the camera department. The new device features a 48MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 120-degree FOV and f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Whereas on the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture embedded under the punch hole.
The Huawei P Smart 2021 houses a 5,000mAh battery and gets a 22.5W SuperCharge which supports fast charging.
On the connectivity front, it features a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM support, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C.
Pricing and availability
The newest offering from Huawei is available in three color variants – Midnight Black, Brush Gold, and Crush Green. It is priced at 229 EUR in Austria and will be available for purchase in the European markets by October.
