Huawei has earlier scheduled the launch of its latest Matebook X series for the MWC 2020 (Mobile World Congress). Now, the event will take place in April and we might see a new smart TV from Huawei at the Matebook X event.
Although Huawei canceled the MWC 2020 event, it’s product launch was still on schedule. Some weeks ago Huawei unveiled its new P40 smartphones and is set to unveil its latest Matebook. However, a new Smart TV from Huawei may likely be unveiled at the event.
The new Matebook X Pro 2020 was first introduced to the world in February. The MateBook X Pro (2020) comes with a 13.9-inch Ultra FullView LTPS display and weighs just 1.33 kg. It also has a storage capacity up to I TB and features Intel’s Core i7.
Just like other Matebook products, the new MateBook X Pro bears some similarities to its predecessors. These similarities include ultra-slim bezels, a touchscreen and a pop-up webcam built into the keyboard. The MateBook X Pro 2020 will be available from April 2020 and it’s cost price starts at 1,499 euros (US$1,620).
According to teaser posters leaked online, it is likely that Huawei will introduce a new version of its Smart TV along with the Matebook. The Smart Screen will feature an 85-inch 4K Quantum Dot 120 Hz screen. The Huawei Vision Smart TV with a built-in pop-up camera according to promotional posters on the media.
Initially, Huawei launched the Vision Smart TV in 65 and 75-inch versions while plans for the 55 and 85-inch we’re slated for a future time. Huawei Vision is equipped with Huawei’s operating system – HarmonyOS/Hongmeng OS.
In addition to its Smart TV launch, plans for the launch of the latest Huawei Sound X smart speaker is underway. The Speaker is set to roll out globally in a few months, however, the exact date has not been revealed.
