iQoo Neo 3 5G is officially launched in China and goes on sale starting at 10 o’clock today. It’s retailing at 2,698 Yuan (~$381.22). The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor made using 7nm technology. It comes with the ARM Cortex-A77 architecture, and for those that don’t know the A77 architecture greatly improves user experience with enhanced performance. Performance improvement comes from micro-architectural updates.
iQoo Neo 3 is clocked at 2.84GHz, supports ultra-fast flash mem aka UFS 3.1, and brings 5G in full glory. That means dual-mode multi-frequency, this has the benefit of delivering superior speeds while adjusting to varied network environments. Its refresh rate is also fast at 144Hz, with 5 fps switching that uses adaptive sync technology. What this means is that you can play games without noticing any lag due to faster pixel rendering.
The iQoo Neo 3 screen also adapts ambient light reducing eye strain and also conserves power leading to longer battery life. It makes images crystal clear when viewed in any environment.
New Device, Old Jack
The smartphone comes with 2 speakers synchronized depending on use making music listening pleasurable with stereo activated and a different mode when making calls and video chat. It is all possible due to an embedded High Fidelity (Hi-Fi) chip. The device has the traditional audio jack which is kind of a surprise. New generation mobile devices don’t have this jack anymore.
Under the hood of the iQoo Neo 3, you’ll find a 4,500 mAh battery with a fast-charge capable at 44W. In fact, we’ve learned that the battery can charge up to 50% under just 20 minutes!
