After unveiling the iQOO Z1x a few weeks ago, the company is here once again with a new mid-range smartphone – iQOO U1 featuring a massive 6.53-inch display, Snapdragon 730G chipset and a 4500 mAh battery. A punch-hole display houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera and will retail for $170.

iQOO U1 runs on android 10 based iQOO UI. A massive 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution is present with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered with Snapdragon 720G chipset and Adreno 612 GPU. It is available in 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage variants. You can even expand storage by adding a microSD card.
In the camera department, the smartphone houses a triple camera sensor featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and another 21-megapixel macro lens. There’s an 8-megapixel sensor on the front is encased inside punch-hole display for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone boasts 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology. In connectivity, there’s also a dual-band WiFI, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Micro-USB port for charging. You can easily authenticate the device by using its side fingerprint sensor. It measures 162.05×76.61×8.46mm and weighs 190 grams.
iQOO U1 is available three colours of Black, Blue and White. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage are available for 1198 which roughly translates to $170. However, you can grab the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant for the price of $230.
The sales will start from July 23 in China through the company’s official website.
