Lenovo Mobile’s official Weibo channel announced today that it will release the new Le Meng K12 series on December 9. This simply means that Lenovo’s long-silent Le Meng series has officially returned.

Lenovo Le Meng K12

As a sub-brand of Lenovo, Le Meng focused on the product line of the younger generation. It used to follow the same philosophy as the Redmi brand under Xiaomi.

It is worth mentioning that a new machine that Lenovo has just passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology certification is considered to be the domestic version of Motorola G9 Power that has been listed in overseas markets. This product sports a 6.78-inch hole-punch screen on the front. Also, there is a rear 64Mp main camera + 2MP macro lens + 2MP depth of field combination of triple camera. The handset supports back fingerprint recognition. Under the hood, we can find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and a battery with a 6000mAh capacity. As you understand, the biggest highlight of this handset is the long battery life. By the way, it supports 20W fast charge.

In September of this year, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo’s smartphone business department in China, said that Lenovo’s recent high-intensity optimization within Lenovo will bring closer cooperation in the global supply chain and R&D chain. At the end of this year to the beginning of next year, this series of product lines will have a relatively good product matrix. Also, Motorola will focus on the mid-to-high-end market. Say, the Legion will focus on the game series. As for the Lenovo Le Meng series, it will restart the line to act as the main force in the low-end market.

In fact, those who are following what’s happening around Lenovo shouldn’t be surprised of the resurrection of this series. A new Weibo account had surfaced with the name “Lemeng Mobile” which was also shared with the account of Lenovo Mobile on Weibo. Further, information on the new brand’s Weibo account reveals that it is a part of Beijing Lenovo Group, confirming that the Lemeng Mobile is a sub-brand of Lenovo Mobile.
