Earlier today, Indian brand Micromax has unveiled its new “in” series smartphone in India. They have launched two new devices in the said series – Micromax in note 1 and Micromax in 1b. Both of them are budget centric devices offering extreme value for money. Micromax started their journey back in 2010 and was popular with their Canvas, Yu, bolt series smartphones by early 2015. But their sales figure collapsed once Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo made their way inside the Indian market. They offered better devices at a fraction of their cost. Due to that reason, they decided to exit the smartphone segment.
