Motorola seems to have its smartphone line up straight this time around. Two weeks ago they introduced the Moto G9 in India with decent specification and pricing. Surprisingly, we came to know that Motorola is gearing up to launch its mid-range Moto G9 Plus through a leak today.
Motorola Moto G9 Plus: Specifications
According to a listing published by a mobile network operator site of Slovakia known as Orange Slovakia, which was further leaked courtesy of Roland Quandt, have shed some light over the specification of the device as well as its pricing.
The Moto G9 Plus will house a massive 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate sampling accompanied by a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. Going by the size of its display, expect the smartphone to be massive.
Disappointingly, the device weighs at 223g, which is on the heavier side when compared to its predecessor i.e. the Moto G8 Plus which weighs only 188g. It measures in at 169.98 x 78.1 x 9.69mm.
Coming to its cameras, the Moto G9 Plus has a quad-camera setup at the back with a primary 64MP main camera sensor. Details about the other sensors were left out although going by recent market scenario, we can expect ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensors.
Talking about its storage, it has an impressive 128GB storage equipped inside it, along with 4GB RAM. We are not sure if this is the only variant that will exist in its line up.
No information about the chipset has been provided (Snapdragon 730G rumored), although according to the leak, it will be a 4G powered SoC. Moto G9 Plus will run on Android 10 out of the box.
Connectivity-wise, it will support Dual SIM 4G Network (VoLTE) with Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. Judging by the images that were leaked earlier today, it will have the Side Fingerprint Scanner on the power button.
Pricing and availability
According to the leak, we know that it will at least come in a 4GB+128GB Storage variant, and one of its colors will be Blue (Gold color rumored). The phone will come with a priced tag of 255€ (approx. 301$).
However, the company hasn’t released any official news regarding the smartphone. We can only expect some updates in the coming days.
