Motorola has been gearing up to launch several new midrange smartphones by Q1 2021. Some of them will be the new Moto G Play (2021) followed by Moto E7. Not only that, the company is planning to launch a new flagship smartphone by next year. Apart from all these devices, new Motorola devices with model numbers – XT2091-7 and XT2081-4 appeared on TENAA couple of days ago. Earlier today, XT2091-7 and XT2081-4 appeared with rendered images on TENAA.
The upcoming smartphone was first spotted by Simranpal Singh, one of our Editors. He took to Twitter and gave us the first look at the devices. For instance, we can conclude two outcomes of the device. First, we could notice that the device has a Lenovo logo at the back. Which suggest that it won’t be launched as a Motorola smartphone. Secondly, the device looks awfully similar to this year’s Moto E7 Plus.
If it isn’t a coincidence, then the device might be rebranded as a Lenovo product. If we can recall, Lenovo also claimed to revive its Lemon Smartphone series earlier this year. This means that the upcoming devices could be launched under Lenovo’s Lemon branded smartphones.
Motorola XT2091-7 and XT2081-4: Details
According to today’s photo, the XT2091-7 will house a squared camera module with a triple camera system accompanied by an LED flash. On to the right side, we could notice the volume rockers as well as the power button. While on the left side, we could see an additional button which might be used for voice assistant or other customizable utilities. Other than that, the device will have a punch-hole display and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Motorola XT2081-4 features module similar to the Moto E7 Plus. The device houses a squared camera module with a dual-camera system accompanied by an LED flash. On to the right side, we could notice the volume rockers + power button + additional button for voice assistant or other customizable utilities. Other than that, the device will also house a notched display and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
According to the listing, Motorola XT2081-4 will feature a 6.5″ display along with a 5000mAh battery. Whereas the Motorola XT2091-7 will feature a 6.78″ display along with a 5640mAh battery. Both of them will the 4G enabled device and will run on Android OS.
Dimension wise, the Motorola XT2081-4 will measure 165.2×75.7×9.2(mm). Whereas the Motorola XT2091-7 measures 172×76.7×9.6(mm).
Additionally, both will support connectivity options such as TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, GSM standard, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and dual SIM support.
