Motorola started preparing to pump-up its game for the high-end market as some premium smartphones have hit the rumor machines. After a bit sour launch of Motorola Edge+ due to higher price and less competitive specifications, the company appears to be coming with a new high-end smartphone. Motorola XT2125 with codename ‘Nio’ has leaked with some specification details by TechnikNews.

The new device aka Motorola ‘Nio’ will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. There will be a single storage variant of 8GB + 128GB internal storage. A Full HD+ display will accompany the device with 90Hz refresh rate support. However, there’s no information about the display size.
In the camera department, the smartphone will feature a triple-camera module featuring a 64-megapixel OmniVision primary sensor. Moreover, there will be a 16MP Ominiision ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. FOr selfies and video calling, a dual-camera front setup is present with 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel lens.
It will be a dual SIM device and will run Android 11. The device is expected to launch in Q1 2021.
It is quite difficult to speculate on the exact launch date and pricing.
