Recently, a new OPPO phone carrying the model number CPH2205 received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Apart from a few features, the FCC listing also showcases its actual look from the back. Thus, we can see the image sensors layout and more.

Interestingly, the same OPPO CPH2205 handset was approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in December. This means OPPO has been preparing a new device for the global launch (not for the Chinese or Indian market). Anyways, that time, we didn’t get any information on its specifications.

As for the FCC schematics, the image reveals that the smartphone will come with a large-sized camera module at the top-left corner.

As we can see, the module will consist of three camera lenses and an LED flash. Though there is nothing certain, we think the main camera will have a 48MP resolution. We can also see the OPPO branding at the bottom-right of the phone’s back. The handset measures 160.1 x 73.32mm x 170mm. The screen of the OPPO CPH2205 measures 159mm diagonally. In other words, we are dealing with a 6.2-inch screen.

Of course, the upcoming OPPO CPH2205 will run on ColorOS 11.1 based Android 11 OS out of the box. But we are not sure in terms of battery. The FCC listing only mentions the model number of BLP835. Just conducting a little research, we can see that it corresponds to the 4,220mAh capacity in the TUV Rheinland listing. Its typical capacity is 4,310mAh.
