According to a Weibo blogger, an entry-level 5G new machine from Redmi has passed the certification of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for network access. Apart from various features, we can also take a look at its photos. The whistleblower said that the screen size of this phone is 6.5 inches and it is an LCD full screen. There is a hole in the upper center part for the selfie camera. And this display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz.
According to previous information, this phone will come with a 5000mAh battery and support 22.5W wired fast charging. There is the word “5G” next to the Redmi logo on the back of the phone, indicating that the phone will support 5G network.
We can also see from the side view that this phone uses a side fingerprint recognition solution, which combines fingerprint recognition with the power-on button. The smartphone display has a straight screen design, and the camera module is similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 11.
The whistleblower also revealed that this new model of Redmi will have a 48-megapixel main camera. No more information about this phone has been announced yet, only that this model has passed the 3C certification at the same time.
As a reminder, the latest model under this brand is the Redmi K40. But this series has three models for the mid-range and premium segments. So this handset most likely won’t belong to this line. Instead, we guess it will be the Redmi 10.
