Nubia Play 5G launches with Snapdragon 765G chipset, 144Hz AMOLED display for 2399 Yuan (~$339)

After several rumors and leaks, Nubia has finally unveiled the latest mid-range gaming device featuring Snapdragon 765G processor and 6/8 GB LPDDR4X RAM. The new smartphone is currently native to China with a 6.65-inch AMOLED FHD+ display having a 144Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It is a boon for gamers as they will be enjoying the fluid graphics along with 5G support and 5100 mAh massive battery. The whole gaming bundle pricing starts from 2399 Yuan which roughly translates to $339.

Nubia Play 5G Specifications

A beautiful X branding with ‘5G’ on the rear side can be seen along with a gradient pattern. A triple rear camera module is present in the centre of the camera, and the fourth camera is present on the right side of the module.

Nubia Play 5G comes powered with Snapdragon 765G chipset featuring an octa-core processor and support for dual-mode 5G network – SA/NSA. Being a gaming smartphone, the company has added an ICE 2.5 cooling system to liquid cool the system while playing games for an extensive period.

To further improve the gaming performance and feel, Nubia added a beautiful 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a 240Hz sampling rate, 144Hz refresh rate, and carrying a built-in fingerprint sensor.

Nubia Play 5G smartphone houses a quad rear camera with a 48-megeapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 2-megapixel macro and another 2-megapixel depth lens. The 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary lens can easily shoot bright and detailed photos even in the low light areas. It is even capable of shooting 4K videos at 30 fps.there’s a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for beautiful selfies and video calling.

There’s a massive 5100 mAh battery along with the support for 30W fast wired charging. It runs on nubia8.0 based on Android 10.
