OnePlus 10 Pro

Last week OnePlus officially launched its first high-end smartphone of 2022. After a few days, the new OnePlus 10 Pro is now available to purchase from different platforms. However, the specifications of OnePlus products are quite different between the Chinese version and other regional versions. Please note that this article introduces the “Chinese version”.

Features of OnePlus 10 Pro:

Variants:

8GB / 128GB: 4,699 yuan (about 85,000 yen) Color: Black
8GB / 256GB: 4,999 yuan (about 90,500 yen) Color: Black / Green 12GB /
256GB: 5,299 yuan (about 96,000 yen) Color: Black / Green

The official color name of black is “Kaikai Black,” and green is “All Things Blue”.

Design:

The front has a punch hole in the upper left, and both ends are mild edge type (gently curved toward the side), which is not much different from the OnePlus 9. On the other hand, on the backside, the camera’s presence has increased dramatically.

Side and top and bottom. This layout is also relatively orthodox, and I don’t have the impression that it has changed so much, just because the position of the SIM tray has changed from the OnePlus 9 Pro.

Processor:

The CPU is Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and there are three types of RAM and storage variations that were unknown in the previous article: 8GB / 128GB, 8GB / 256GB, and 12GB / 256GB. The display is a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED with LTPO, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 3,216 x 1,440, which is numerically unchanged from the OnePlus 9 Pro.

The spec table posted here lists the Chinese version of the communication band. Still, the OnePlus products support different bands for each region, so please refer to it only.

Camera:

For the camera, see the previous article linked above. Although the number of pixels of the in-camera has increased from 16MP to 32MP, the out-camera says that “the number is not much different from the OnePlus 9 Pro, but rather the number of lenses of the out-camera has decreased”. It seems that the actual shooting image quality has improved significantly.

The housing size is also different from the OnePlus 9 Pro by “comma how many millimeters”, and the weight is about 3 grams heavier, so it can be said that there is almost no change.

Battery:

Regarding the battery, the capacity has been increased from 4,500mAh of the OnePlus 9 Pro to 5,000mAh, it supports 80W quick charge (wired) and 50W wireless charging, and it takes 32 minutes to charge with 80W charging fully.

The “Hyper Boost” function has been installed in terms of the system. In addition to making various settings for games such as “cut notifications” that can be seen on gaming smartphones, it seems that performance and graphics are optimized according to the usage scene.

Price:

OnePlus 10 Pro will be available to purchase from different online platforms. The price starts at 4,699 Yuan; below are the prices of all the variants.

8GB + 128GB version 4699 yuan
8GB + 256GB version 4999 yuan
12GB + 256GB version 5299 yuan
