Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 8 and its Pro series April 16 at 19:00. However, notorious tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed that OnePlus will also unveil a 30W charging output.
Claims have it that at the OnePlus 8 conference, the company will launch the OnePlus Wireless Earbuds and Warp Charge’s 30W wireless flash charger device. The 30W warp wireless charger (which will be used with the OnePlus 8 Pro) is not the only device that the company has in its surprise bag.
Agarwal also gave hints of the launch of a wireless earbud, the Bullets Wireless Z that will likely launch soon. The Bullets Wireless Z will be an affordable version of the Bullets Wireless 2 earphones. The upcoming earphones will likely feature USB Type-C charging ports.
With regards to OnePlus 8, it will come in three colour options— light green, black, and Glow, a gradient. The phone will also bear a resemblance to OnePlus 7T Pro.
The OnePlus 8 will also feature 3 cameras, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, 48-megapixel main back camera and a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera. Although it doesn’t support wireless charging, it will come with 30W fast charging on a 4300 mAh battery power supply.
While the OnePlus 8 does not support wireless charging, while the OnePlus 8 Pro will support the new charging. A previous tip had revealed that the OnePlus 8 Pro will bring support for 30W wireless charging. The design of the OnePlus 8 Pro makes it look like a smaller version of the OnePlus 8 except it has a rare camera module. It also features a 6.78-inch Hz screen.
However, we will find out more details of the Warp Charge’s 30W wireless flash charger at the Expo OnePlus 8 Pro conference. The specifications of the OnePlus true wireless earbuds is equally not yet known. However, it will debut sometime in the year.
