DxOMark has become a well-respected authority for testing camera capabilities of all the smartphones. DxOMark scores make a big difference in marketing the camera aspects of smartphones. Most of the advanced users often go through DxOmark ratings before buying a smartphone. OnePlus 8 Pro recently received 119 points at DxOMark for the rear camera. It is better than the OnePlus 7 Pro which scored 114 points.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer continues to push better cameras on its smartphones. The rating agency terms the OnePlus 8 Pro as the camera with excellent exposure and color vividness. The presence of little noise, better autofocus, and accurate colors are some important findings from the recent review.
The telephoto lens is better but not the best. The images captured by the lens have better exposure and color, but fails in noise levels and focus range.
However, the OnePlus 8 Pro scored 103 points in video recording. The primary camera has excellent capabilities to capture beautiful and meaningful photos with 126 points score.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel color filter camera. Dual LED flashes are accompanied by a quad-rear camera module for better photography in a low-light environment.
Overall, OnePlus 8 Pro is a good photography smartphone with the capability to shoot low-light environments.
