OnePlus 8T churns $13M within a first minute of sale in China

OnePlus is performing really well in most of the market wherever it is available. However, it is exceptionally in demand in China as it has churned $13M within the first 60 seconds of debut sale. OnePlus 8T series is doing tremendously well at its home turf as per the official announcement made on Weibo post.

In other words, the company sold 25-30k units within the first 1 minute. OnePlus 8T is retailing for 3399 Yuan with an 8GB RAM variant and 3699 Yuan for a 12GB RAM variant. The company sold over 60000 phones in the first 10 minutes.

OnePlus 8T series is doing pretty well considering the top-notch hardware, fast charging speed, and famous OxygenOS. Both the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro have gained several advancements over the OnePlus 8 series.

OnePlus 8T Specs

The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage. The smartphone features a quad-rear camera consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel front selfies camera.

There’s a 6.55-inch FLuid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on Android 11 based on OxygenOS 11. In Connectivity, there’s a BL 5.1, WiFi, GPS, MFC, USB Type C 3.1, and 5G support.

A 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging is present on board. It is available in Aquamarine Greena and Lunar Silver color options.
