Newest leaks focus towards dimensions and camera specifications

The newest leaks on OnePlus 8T dimensions which were earlier posted on Twitter courtesy of Steve(@Onleaks). According to the leak, the device will have a dimension of 162.8×75.5×8.4mm. This means the thickness of the device would be approximately 8.4mm, seems a bit thicker than OnePlus 8‘s 8.0mm. If the leaks are true, its thickness is quite similar to the last year’s OnePlus 8 Pro. Considering its battery to be 4,500mAh battery which is similar to the 8 Pro, the slight increase in its thickness somehow justifies. Also, Steve says that the thickness will increase to 9.3mm when you add the rear-camera bump into consideration.

Another set of the leak came from Yogesh(@heyitsyogesh) on Twitter as well. The leak is based on the camera-equipped in the OnePlus 8T. By the looks of it isn’t an upgrade after all as it retains similar sensor like its predecessor i.e. OnePlus 8. The device will feature 48MP Sony’s IMX 586 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture including OIS, EIS; a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide with 116˚ FOV(Field of View) sensor; 5MP f/2.4 macro and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Sadly they ditched the Telephoto lens which was found in its predecessor.

Earlier Pete Lau claimed that the chances of launching OnePlus 8T Pro are less likely this year as OnePlus 8 Pro itself has a complete set of upgrades and doesn’t require a successor right now.
