The well-known whistleblower @Steve H.McFly (OnLeaks) has successively found information about the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 FE, Google Pixel 5 and even OnePlus 8T 5G in recent months. Yesterday, he brought a set of renders that should belong to the OnePlus 9 Pro.
Because the OnePlus 9 Pro is still in the prototype stage and has not yet been mass-produced, some small details of the machine’s exterior design may change.
First of all, the OnePlus 9 Pro uses a 6.55-inch curved hole-punch screen. The front lens hole is in the upper left corner.
The speaker is located on the bottom side of the phone, while the right side carries the mode slider and power button. The volume rocker is on the left side.
Finally, the back of the phone is made of glass.
Steve said that the OnePlus 9 Pro design looks like a hybrid of the OnePlus 8T and the OnePlus 8 Pro.
On the back, the machine uses a rectangular rear camera arrangement, and the latest prototype includes four lenses. In contrast, the OnePlus 9 has only 3 lenses. However, the whistleblower did not know the detailed specifications of these lenses and their sensors.
In this regard, 91mobiles yesterday showed the OnePlus 9 rear lens design. As you can see, it has three rear cameras. They include a 48MP main camera and 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It can provide 12MP (4000 x 3000 pixels) output and 6mm focal length. We still don’t know anything about the third lens.
In contrast, the focal lengths of OnePlus 8 Pro and 8T are 6.59mm and 4.74mm, respectively. The source is not sure whether the new model will use Sony IMX 586 or IMX689 sensors. The last is the release date. Some sources said that the OnePlus 9 Pro will be launched in March, and Steve confirmed this.
In terms of parameters, the OnePlus 9 series will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip. The minimum memory is 8G. Also, it will come with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The OnePlus 9 is expected to have a candy bar screen, while the Pro appears to have a curved screen. Both models will run on Android 11-based Oxygen OS.
