Oppo has been busy launching devices in recent time in various price points. Some of their recently launched was Oppo Reno4 Pro Galactic Blue version, Oppo F17 and Oppo F17 Pro. Not only that, but they have also recently focused on improving their ColorOS, the newest ColorOS 11 looks much polished and intuitive compared to the earlier versions. The company has also started to improve its product positioning in recent times, you can get an Oppo at every price point. Similar to Oppo A53, the new Oppo A33 (2020) features a 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is capable of smooth gaming experience with its 90Hz refresh rate.

The new mid-ranger is powered with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. It runs on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 and support microSD card for storage expansion.

Coming to optics, the device houses a triple camera setup at the rear with a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. Whereas at the front, the punch hole cutout houses a single 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.

The phone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support given by a USB-C port. On the connectivity part, the device features 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C. Apart from that, the device also houses a fingerprint reader at the back, stereo speakers, and 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and availability

Oppo A33 (2020) is priced at IDR 22,99,000 (roughly Rs. 11,300/$155) for the lone 4GB RAM + 32GB of storage in Indonesia. The smartphone is available in Moonlight Black and Mint Cream colour variants. The sale will commence from October 1 on its official website.
