The brand announced that the digital car key is fully adapted to Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Y. It will be providing a better Tesla car key unlocking experience for Chinese OPPO mobile phone users. OPPO will be working on more phone models adapted to Tesla vehicles. In return, the company will also make more vehicles available for unlocking. The cooperation with Tesla is part of OPPO’s Carlink.
Digital Car Key!
The digital car key for Tesla vehicles is currently available on selected smartphones. It includes the OPPO Find X5 Pro, Find X5, Reno7 Pro, and Find N models. But to get this feature, your phone needs to be updated to ColorOS 11.2 or above. Similarly, the Tesla app also needs to be updated to 4.7.3-1022. The OPPO smartphone users can complete the digital car key setup by completing the process. For this, open the Wallet app, and then on the Homepage, tap on the Drop-down option. From here, tap on Car Key Add and choose Tesla. After this. Open the Tesla App and navigate to Security, and finally to Bind Phone Key Card. You are done with it, and your car will automatically unlock when approaching the vehicle. It will also lock the vehicle when you leave with your smartphone.
Earlier, the digital unlocking feature was only available for people using iPhones. A few weeks back, OPPO and Xpeng Motors made an agreement, and the functions such as digital car keys and car butler that support Xpeng Motors are now live. The smartphones, including OPPO Find X5, now support functions such as non-sensing unlocking, automatic locking when leaving the car, remote control of doors, whistle, air conditioning, etc. All these depend on your car model and the ColorOS version. The models of XPeng, namely P7, G3, G3i, and P5, support these features now.
