Oppo is improving the core technologies of its smartphones. Already, the Chinese company has made innovative explorations in the technology field while testing 5G technology. We have even seen some extraordinary patents at CNIPA from Oppo in the past. In addition, a new smartphone patent with a circular selfie camera has appeared at WIPO and spotted by our folds at 91mobiles.

It’s a new type of punch hole camera with a different shape. It’s a new way to hide the punch hole on the smartphone display. The patent will aid the bezel-less experience through a semi-circular camera. It will automatically pop-out once the user toggle camera from the software.

Oppo patent design could be the design of the upcoming flagship Reno series smartphone which currently supports 10x zoom.

On the rear side, a triple camera module is presently carrying a wide-angle lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. Moreover, the patent mentions 15x hybrid zoom functionality. It will be carved out of metal, ceramic, or glass materials.

Additionally, a couple of new innovative smartphones are coming to Oppo Future Technology Conference 2020 on November 17-18. So, those could be based on some previously explored Oppo patents.
