Camera
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro sports a 48MP ultra-clear main + 12MP super wide-angle + 13MP telephoto + laser focusing lenses combination. Among them, the wide-angle lens adopts Sony’s customized IMX708 ultra-wide-angle video CMOS. It comes with a 16:9 video format, a large pixel size, a 120° ultra-wide field of view, and supports four-in-one pixel aggregation.
In terms of software and algorithms, the OPPO Reno 4 series is the first to use a self-developed ‘Moonlight Night Video Algorithm’. Both the main camera and the ultra-wide-angle lens support this algorithm. After the algorithm is turned on, the brightness of the screen can be effectively increased by 74.4% when shooting a night scene. The purity of the screen is also increased by 33.7%. Users can easily shoot brighter, more colorful, and clear night scene video.
The OPPO Reno 4 series supports the third-generation video super image stabilization. Also, the company has added the front-end video image stabilization and mobile time-lapse photography functions.
Apart from this, the OPPO Reno 4 series also supports 21:9 straight-out movie mode and newly launched 10 new movie filters. In addition, a more intelligent video editing capability was upgraded on Soloop Instant Recording. The latter can quickly identify and edit the highlights in the video. At the same time, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro will also open up the video capabilities. So users can directly use the ultra-wide-angle lens advantages in the app.
Hardware
In terms of software/hardware configuration, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro sports a 6.5-inch hyperbolic flexible OLED screen. The latter supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz sampling rate. Under the hood, it hosts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chip. The phone also upgraded the 360° surround antenna 2.0 and comes with a 5G + Wi-Fi dual-channel acceleration. At the same time, the Reno 4 series also runs on a new ColorOS 7.2. The entire system supports 65W super flash charging, of which the OPPO Reno 4 Pro uses a 2x2000mAh equivalent of 4000mAh capacity energy dual-cell large battery.
Battery
As talking about the endurance and heat dissipation, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro has a three-dimensional liquid-cooled heat dissipation system and implements customized power-saving strategies. When shooting video, the OFusion algorithm can optimize power consumption by 40%. By establishing a user sleep model, the night standby power consumption is optimized by about 10%. After the super power-saving mode is turned on, text chat consumes only 5% power in 90 minutes.
Design
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is 7.6mm thick and weighs about 172g. The exclusive first launch of the Reno Glow crystal drilling process uses a hyperboloid screen design. The back cover of the fuselage has a fine distribution of millions of diamond-shaped three-dimensional crystal planes. They can not only retain the delicateness and brightness of the color of the fuselage but also prevent fingerprints and make it more wear-resistant.

The rear carries a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP ultra-clear laser focusing triple-camera. The front dual camera comes with a sensors combination of 32MP + 2MP. Also, it has a super night scene video shooting functions such as video super image stabilization 3.0.
Price and Availability
In terms of price, the OPPO Reno 4 8GB+128GB costs 2999 yuan and the 8GB+256GB is priced at 3299 yuan ($466). The OPPO Reno 4 Pro’s 8GB+128GB version is 3799 yuan ($536) and the 12GB+256GB version comes at 4299 yuan ($607). The pre-sale has started immediately after the conference and it will be officially launched on June 12.
In addition, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro 2020 summer customized version is priced at 4299 yuan ($607), and it will be on sale on June 18.
