Two new OPPO smartphones with model names PDSM00 / PDST00 appeared on TENAA indicating they will hit the Chinese market in the nearest future. As you understand, the model names belong to the same series (alleged) of the OPPO Reno 5. Moreover, prior to this, both models appeared on GeekBench. And as for now, one of them, the assumed Reno 5 Pro has made its way to TENAA (1 2), disclosing some of its key specifications.
Well, let’s take a look at these phones’ key features. The PDSM00 phone will come with 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.6mm dimensions and it has a 6.55-inch display. Also, a reliable source said the Reno 5 series will have a punch-hole display. As for the Pro variant, it should come with curved edges. But we are waiting for high refresh rates on this display.
The TENAA documents show that the PDSM00 model has a rated size of dual-part battery of 2125mAh. Moreover, there should be not two but three Reno 5 smartphones. And they all should support the company’s 65W fast charging technology. Since the PDST00 model is just a network variant, it offers the same dimensions, display size, and battery capacity as the PDSM00 phone.
The PEGM00 / PEGT00 OPPO smartphone that has got the TENAA certification is speculated to come with the Snapdragon 765G chipset. And we guess it is the Reno 5. The PDRM00 phone that was spotted at 3C platform recently could be the Snapdragon 865 SoC powered flagship model in the series.
