Oppo Reno5 series has been at the centre of the storm just before its launch. The Reno5 Series has been leaked on daily basis with numerous speculations. Yesterday, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G was leaked almost entirely on TENAA except for the images. However, earlier today, TENAA shared the images of the alleged Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G smartphone.
Alleged Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G (PDSM00) specifications
According to the post, the device comes with the model name OPPO PDSM00. At first glance, we can notice that the device doesn’t have a notch, which means that it might come with a hole-punch design. It also has a deep curve on the edge of its display.
Under its hood, it will be powered by an octa-core SoC which is clocked at 2.6GHz. It will be coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM variants along with 128GB/256GB internal storage options. As per the listing, the device will run on Android 11.
Moving towards the front, it will flaunt a 6.55″ AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. For optics, the device houses a Quad camera setup stacked in a rectangular module at the back. It includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Whereas, for selfies, it will house a 32MP camera.
Other than that, the phone weighs 173g and has a dimension of 159.7×73.2×7.6mm. The device draws its power from a 4,250mAh battery. Additional features include the likes of a Gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, fingerprint recognition under the screen, and fast charging support.
Another OPPO Reno5 series Smartphone leaked briefly
Earlier today, renowned leakster Digital Chat Station posted about the upcoming Oppo Reno5 series smartphone. The post doesn’t mention the exact model but enlightens us with enough information. According to the post, the phone weighs 180g.
It also states that the Oppo Reno5 smartphone will come with a 90Hz refresh rate panel accompanied by a punch hole at the upper left corner. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and drawn its power from a 4500mAh battery which supports 65W fast charging.
For optics, it will house a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 50MP primary camera. Whereas, the punch hole at the front will house a 32MP camera for selfies. However, the post didn’t mention the rest of the sensors.
Other than that, Oppo is also rumoured to be working on three separate Reno5 devices. The first one will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, the second with Dimensity 1000+ chipset whereas the third with the Snapdragon 865 chip.
The company hasn’t come forth with an exact launch date but looking at the regular leaks, the smartphone series might be launched by the end of this year.
