A day or so long ago, Realme has confirmed the upcoming Realme V5 smartphone in China. The device which could be the first in the Realme V Series has supposedly passed the TENAA certification. Though not stated explicitly, the Realme RMX2111 / RMX2112 has appeared at TENAA with full specs and we believe the device to be none other than the Realme V5.
Must See: Realme V5 expected to feature a 6.5-inch display, 30W fast charging, 5000 mAh battery
The RMX2121 TENAA database spills of a 6.55-inch punch-hole LCD display. The display of the device is expected to support high refresh rate. While no accurate mention of the battery capacity, it is expected to house a 5,00mAh battery with support for fast charging not less than 33W.
Powering the Realme V5 is a 2GHz System-on-Chip which could be Dimensity 800 5G. The device may come in 6/8GB RAM variants coupled with 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB storage options in China. The internal storage should have an option to expand via microSD. Other specs of the phone include a 16MP front camera, a 48MP main rear sensor accompanied by 8MP + 2MP + 2MP auxiliary sensors.
As per the official renders, the Realme V5 features a gradient colour back with a large-sized logo of the brand. A rectangular camera housing is seen strikingly similar to the design of the recent Samsung devices. Also, the display is slightly curved over the edges giving a premium look.
While we’re not sure about the model numbers, the Realme RX2111 could be the standard Realme V5 and the RMX2112, a Pro or Plus model of the Realme V5. We’ve to wait for the official announcement to get this together. Hope we could get more details about the device(s) in coming days as the launch is set for July 27.
