Today, Realme launched a new smartphone, officially called the Realme V15 National Tide Koi. As the name implies, it continues the Realme brand’s trendy play gene. This handset is jointly designed and visually presented by the well-known photographer Yu Cong. Apart from this special edition, there is also a standard version.
The Realme V15 continues to adhere to the design concept of ‘lightweight and thin 5G’. However, inside, it carries a 4310mAh large battery. The weight of the whole machine is controlled at about 176g, and the thickness is only 8.1mm (the Koi version is 8.3mm/179g). There is also a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen on the front.
In 2020, Realme has achieved standard smart flash charging for all thousand-yuan 5G products. This time, the Realme V15 is upgraded again. In this price segment, it is the first to come with a 50W smart flash charging. The phone can be charged to half the battery in 18 minutes. Moreover, the phone also uses scenario-based algorithms at the software level to achieve ‘full-scenario intelligent power saving’. As the name suggests, it helps users reduce system power consumption in different scenarios and extend smartphone battery life. According to the official statement, even only 5% of power can still provide a standby time of one day and one night.

Inside the box, the Realme V15 National Tide Koi version comes with a 65W ultra-flash adapter. It is not only backward compatible with multiple smart flash charging protocols, but can also supplement mainstream smartphones, tablets, notebooks and other devices.
Under the hood, the Realme V15 carries the Dimensity 800U 5G chip. The processor uses 7nm process technology. Compared with the previous generation product, the application speed is increased by 14%, the CPU performance is increased by 11%, and the GPU energy efficiency is increased by 28%. In terms of network, the Realme V15 supports dual SIM dual 5G standby at the same time. The Smart 5G technology can intelligently adjust the networking strategy according to network usage requirements, reducing power consumption by up to 30%, and effectively improving the endurance under 5G networks.
The rear camera of the Realme V15 adopts a multifunctional image combination of 64MP main camera, 119° super wide-angle lens and 4cm super macro lens. The main camera uses a brand-new Samsung 64MP CMOS, which supports four-in-one pixel technology. The front carries a 16MP ultra-clear portrait lens, which supports multi-function selfies. It can also take real and clear selfies in night scenes.
In terms of video recording, the Realme V15 supports UIS Max. So it can record stable and smooth HD video in handheld. The phone also supports the original “movie mode” with the editing function of the SLOOP movie series.
The Realme V15 Special edition 6GB+128GB version is priced at 1499 yuan ($232) and the 8GB+128GB version is 1999 yuan ($309). They are already on sale. But the original series will officially go on sale on January 15.
