Realme X7 and X7 Pro released: what are the main differences?

This afternoon, Realme released two phones – Realme X7 and X7 Pro. They are priced at RMB 1,799 ($264) and RMB 2,199 ($322), respectively.

The difference between these two phones is 400 yuan. So how customers will make purchase decisions? For the same series of smartphones with high and low configurations, the lower models are more demanded. But on the Realme X7 series, the difference between the two phones is quite big. And 400 yuan difference will affect the choice.

To understand what features they come with and what differences they have, let’s take a look at the biggest highlights.

The first is the processor. The X7 Pro uses a Dimensity 1000+, while the Realme X7 comes with a Dimensity 800U. The Dimensity 1000+ comes with the new A77 large core. So it provides way better performance than its sibling. Generally, their performances can’t be compared.

The second is the screen. Although both have FHD+ resolutions, the X7 Pro has a high refresh rate of 120Hz, and the screen-to-body ratio is 91.6%. There is also a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. In this regard, the Realme X7 has nothing to boast of.

In terms of lightness and thinness, the Realme X7 is 175 grams and 8.1mm thick, and the Realme X7 Pro is 184 grams and 8.5mm.

The next is the battery. The Realme X7 sports a 4300mAh, which supports 65W flash charge. In its turn, the Realme X7 Pro comes with a 4500mAh battery with a 65W flash charge support.

In terms of photography, the Realme X7 series all feature a 64MP quad-camera modules. But the Realme X7 Pro also supports a 64MP multi-frame synthesis, and the portrait lens is better. The Realme X7 has a black and white lens.

There are other features worth of our attention. Say, the Realme X7 Pro supports ultra-linear dual speakers, linear motors and multi-function NFC, as well as gaming-grade VC liquid cooling, Dolby Atmos and so on.

Well, these are the key features and main differences of two versions. But what about the pricing? The Realme X7’s 8+128GB starts at 1799 yuan, and the Realme X7 Pro’s 6+128GB is 2199 yuan.
