Smartwatches are more or less becoming a basic necessity these days. Traditional smartphone OEMs are coming up with smartwatches to fill the void in their product portfolio. Also to compete against the smartwatches available in the market. Similar to smartphones, customers too expect top-notch features in their smartwatches which most of the brands live up to these days. That said, Nubia’s Red Magic is gearing up to launch its first smartwatch.
A few days ago, Ni Fei, president of Nubia Technology Co. Ltd., said that the company is gearing up to launch its new flagship Red Magic 6 at the new product launch conference. It is scheduled to be held on March 4. He also stated that the company is also planning to unveil its smartwatch at the same event as well.

Red Magic Smartwatch: Confirmed Specifications
As the event is knocking down the door, the company has officially started teasing the Red Magic Smartwatch. The company has included an AMOLED display. Since most of the premium smartwatches available comprise AMOLED displays these days. The display that the Red Magic gets is a 1.39″ display with 454 PPI. The device will also support all-weather information on the display.
Coming to its build quality, Red Magic has got it covered as well as it uses an aluminium alloy to protect the sides of the smartwatch also giving it a premium look. According to the teasers, the smartwatch is expected to be extremely lightweight. It will weight merely 30g.
Ni Fei also stated that that smartwatch will at least get a 15-day long battery backup with a single full charge. However, that will only be proved once the device is launched. Most of the smartwatches available in the market give a maximum of 5-day battery backup with heavy usage.
Also, it is expected to support intelligent heart rate detection during exercise, sleep health monitoring, blood oxygen detection, 16 exercise modes and other functions. However, it is expected to come with a dedicated football mode which will be the first in this segment.

With the help of this football mode, a user can easily obtain and record the running distance, trajectory diagram, defensive and offensive habit positions, sports heart rate changes and running pace and other sports data of the entire game through GPS trajectory, and generate football heat maps and sports status analysis.
Football fanatics can make adjustments to offensive and defensive strategies through the analysis of the football heat map after the game, and combine the analysis of sports conditions to give the best sports plan.
