Xiaomi’s subbrand – Redmi has finally launched Redmi 9 Power in India featuring some mid-range specifications at the starting price of Rs 10,999. It is another version of the Redmi Note 9 4G which was launched in China a few weeks ago. The primary highlights of the smartphone are a 6.53-inch IPS display, Snapdragon 662 SoC and a presence of 48-megapixel quad-rear camera.

Redmi 9 Power runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset encasing an octa-core processor and powerful GPU. The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it sports a typical brightness of 400 nits having Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

There’s a quad-camera setup on the rear side featuring a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8-megapixel primary camera sits on the front for selfies and video calling.

In connectivity, there’s a VoLTE, VoWiFi, WiFI 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, ambient light sensor, compass, etc. It runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12. The Redmi 9 Power weighs 198g and measures 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6mm. The users can grab it in four different colours of Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Electric Green and Fiery Red.

Redmi 9 Power pricing

Redmi 9 Power will start retailing for Rs 10,999 with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and Rs 11,999 for 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. It will be available via offline and online channels.
