Redmi 9 Prime smartphone is finally unveiled today in India featuring a massive 6.53-inch display, Helio G80 SoC, 4GB RAM, and other sumptuous features. The smartphone is selling in China as Redmi 9 for the past few weeks. The gaming-based smartphone is retailing in India for the starting price of Rs 9,999. Redmi 9 Prime is a performance packed smartphone and is worth every cent in this price segment.

The beautifully designed Redmi 9 Prime houses vertical camera module design on the rear side along with a circular ring. A large 6.53-inch IPS LCD display is present featuring a waterdrop notch, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Redmi 9 Prime is powered with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset featuring a 4GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. The interested users can also expand the storage via a MicroSD card on the phone.

There’s a quad-rear camera module featuring a primary 12-megapixel shooter, 118 degrees 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-0megapixel macro lens. Apart from powerful camera hardware, the smartphone’s software also houses AI scene detection, palm shutter, and several other AI-based features. However, an 8-megapixel selfie maker ais present on the front side.

A 5000 mAh battery resides within the device with 10W fast charging. In connectivity, the smartphone houses FM radio, dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 1217 ultra-linear speaker, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi 9 Prime is available four different color variants including Blue, Mint Green, Sunrise Flare and Matte Balck. The users can opt for 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage version which is retailing for the price of Rs 9999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage which is available for RS 11,999. You can grab the device from Mi Home.
