Redmi 9 was recently launched by the company in China with the mid-range specification. It features a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset featuring an octa-core processor and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The smartphone is launched in two storage configurations like 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variants. However, according to the updated Redmi 9 TENAA listing, there will be another storage variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The TENAA listing bearing model number M2004J19C was last updated on 2nd June reflecting the new memory configuration. Other details about the device remain the same.
As a quick overview, Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and supports 400 nits of maximum brightness.
The smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset coupled with an octa-core processor and Mali-G51 MC2 GPU. A quad-rear camera with 13-megapixel primary sensor brings quality photography experience. Other sensors include an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An 8-megapixel sensor sits on the front for selfies and video calling.
In connectivity, the user will get a Bluetooth 5, WiFi, GPS, NFC, IR sensor, and a USB Type-C port. There’s a 5020 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging. It is available in Carbon Gray, SunsetPurple, and Ocean Green colors.
Surprisingly, Redmi 9 is coming to Spain on June 25. The company has listed the device on its official Spain website.
