Xiaomi finally launched its another entry-level Android phone in India i.e. Redmi 9. It is the slightly tweaked version od Redmi 9C which was launched in Malaysia in June 2020. The Redmi 9 comes in three different colors that include Carbon Black, Sky Blue, and Sporty Orange color options. The phone will be available to purchase on Amazon India and Mi.com from 12 Noon on 31st August 2020.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 is powered with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC that pairs 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The phone also has a MicroSD slot that supports up to 512GB card. It features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ dot drop display with 2340 x 1080 Pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Redmi 9 packs quad-camera at the back with 13MP primary camera + 8MP ultrawide camera + 5MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor with HDR support. Moreover, on the front side, there is an 8MP selfie camera with HDR support.

The Phone has a huge 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12. In connectivity options, Redmi 9 packs 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
