Furthermore, there will be a 64MP primary camera and 4500 mAh battery. It carries the same internal name “Cezanne” as the Redmi K20 series as revealed in the MIUI 12 development version. Redmi K40 houses a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel sensor with 33W fast charging for 4500 mAh battery. Other usual features include support for NFC, 6GB RAM, and 5G dual-band.

The presence of MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ is confirmed by multiple sources and some leaks in the past.

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the smartphone will house a punch-hole display design.

It is also counted as the successor to the Mi CC9 which was unveiled in July last year. The new CC10 or Redmi K40 is expected to follow the predecessor. However, the smartphone will compete against the Honor X10 Pro and iQOO Z1 smartphones.
